(UNDATED) - The following is a wrapup of regional baseball matchups from Monday.

(Cincinnati, OH) - The Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds were rained out yesterday, but not before they played nearly 6 innings of baseball, and hit a record 10 home-runs at Great American Ball park.

The Pirates hit 6 solo bombs on 3 different sets of back to back homers. Two a piece for Neil Walker, and Gaby Sanchez, and 1 each for Starling Marte, and Travis Snider.

The Reds Todd Frazier, Ryan Ludwick , Joey Votto, and Devin Mesoraco hit the remaining 4 home-runs, compiling all their scoring on the long ball.

The scoreboard showed the game tied at 7 runs per team. The game is scheduled to resume today at 5:30pm ET after which they will play the second game of their series.

(Milwaukee, WI) - The St. Louis Cardinals cooled off the red hot Milwaukee Brewers, defeating the best team in baseball by a score of 4-0.

Cardinals batters Jhonny Peralta and Jon Jay each went deep off of Brewers starter Matt Garza, who is still winless on the season after three tries. The pair of batters combined for all 4 of the Card's RBI's on the day.

Pitcher Lance Lyn was outstanding in his third start of the season, pitching 7 innings giving up just 3 hits and zero runs for the shutout, while striking out 11 batters to improve to 3-0 on the season.

St. Louis now improves to 8-5 on the season, while the Brewers slide to 10-3.
