BNL Lady Stars Softball Team Ties All-Time IHSAA Home Run Record

(BEDFORD) - Bedford North Lawrence Lady Stars softball team established history Saturday when the team racked up five home runs during a 21-6 victory over class 2A 13th-ranked Linton at the Princeton Tourney.

The five home runs were not only a school single-game record, but also tied the all-time IHSAA record for one game.

BNL joined Pendleton Heights, Garrett, Evansville Memorial, Whiting and Cowan for the record.

Hitting the homeruns were: Senior Cassidy Morron with two, Sophomore Marissa Watson with one in the third inning and Freshman Kiana Brown smacking one in the fourth inning, Senior Kenzie Silvers added one to cap off the five.
