Hawkeyes Soar Past Boilermakers

(Iowa City, IA) - Roy Devin Marble scored 21 points to lead the 19th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes to an 83-76 win over Purdue.

Aaron White had a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds with Mike Gesell also scoring 15 points as the Hawkeyes snapped a three-game skid.

Rapheal Davis led the Boilers with 18 points with AJ Hammons adding 16 points and 14 boards as Purdue loses its fourth game in a row.

Iowa improves to 20-and-9, 9-and-7 in Big Ten play. Purdue falls to 15-and-14, 5-and-11 in the conference.

The Boilers are at Wisconsin on Wednesday night.
