Notre Dame Has The State's Best Football Recruiting Class

(undated) - College football's national signing day is over with Notre Dame again pacing the Indiana state universities.

Brian Kelly's recruiting class ranks in the top ten in three of the four major recruiting sites, and is eleventh in the fourth site, ESPN-U.

Twenty-two players committed to the Fighting Irish on Wednesday.

Kevin Wilson is pleased with the 24 recruits he signed to play at Indiana this fall. Rivals.com ranks the Hoosiers' class number-37 nationally.

Purdue's class ranks 73rd according to Rivals and last in the Big Ten.

Ball State's prime recruit is Fort Wayne Concordia quarterback David Morrison, who is expected to compete for the starting job.

Rivals ranks the Cardinals' recruiting class number-96 in the nation, number-four in the Mid-American Conference.
