Pacers Wrap Up West Coast Road Trip Tonight In L.A.

Last updated on Tuesday, January 28, 2014

(Los Angeles, CA) - The Indiana Pacers wrap up their final west coast road trip of the season tonight when they face the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Pacers have split the first four games of the five-game trip and are coming off a 109-96 loss at Denver on Saturday night.

The Blue-and-Gold still hold the best record in the NBA at 34-9 and have a two and-a-half-game lead over Miami for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Lakers are back at Staples Center following a seven-game road trip. They have dropped four in a row and have lost 17 of 21 since losing Kobe Bryant to a knee injury in mid-December.

LA is 16-29 and currently stands 13th in the Western Conference.

In Bryant's absence, the Lakers have leaned on Pau Gasol, who has scored more than 20 points and grabbed more than ten rebounds in each of the last four games.

The Pacers have won their last three meetings with the Lakers in Los Angeles.

The teams will conclude the two-game season series February 25th at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
