(Indianapolis, IN) - In his fourth season, Pacers forward Paul George has established himself as one of the NBA’s best.
Fans across the country have obviously taken notice, as PG has been voted to start the NBA All-Star Game.
George was second in the Eastern Conference with 1,211,318 votes and third overall in the NBA in voting.
The fourth-year star is eighth in the NBA with an average of 23.3 points per game.
George becomes the third Pacers player to start the NBA All-Star Game, joining Reggie Miller and Jermaine O'Neal as Pacers voted by the fans to start for the Eastern Conference.
George is the 12th Pacers player to be named to the All-Star team. The NBA All-Star Game is February 16th in New Orleans.
George also was selected Thursday to USA Basketball's pool of players for consideration its men's national team pool for 2014-16.
The team will compete in the 2014 World Cup of Basketball this summer and will end with the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Also selected was Brownsburg native and former Butler standout Gordon Hayward.
