(East Lansing, MI) - IU hung tough all night with the third best team in the country but fell short down the stretch falling to Michigan State 71-66.

Led by Yogi Ferrel, IU had a 2 point advantage at half time in front of a hostile Michigan State crown.

Indianapolis native Gary Harris paced Michigan State with 24 points.

The Hoosiers fall to 12-7 with the loss tonight at 2-4 in Big Ten play.
