(Providence, RI) - The Butler Bulldogs are on the road as they take on the Providence Friars in a Big East clash.
The Bulldogs are coming off their first Big East win, a 69-57 overtime victory over Marquette last Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse that snapped a five-game losing streak.
The win moved Butler to 11-7, 1-5 in conference play.
The Friars are 13-5, 3-2 in the Big East. Providence is coming off an 81-68 win over Creighton last Saturday.
This is the first time the Bulldogs and the Friars will play in men's basketball.
