Bengals Fall To Chargers In AFC Playoffs

Last updated on Monday, January 6, 2014

(Cincinnati, OH) - The Cincinnati Bengals will have to wait another year to get their long awaited playoff win.

For the third straight year the team lost in their playoff opener, falling to the San Diego Chargers 27-10.

The Bengals led 10-7 at the half but then didn't score again.

Cincinnati lost the turnover battle 4-0 on another rough playoff game by quarterback Andy Dalton who threw two interceptions and lost a fumble.

The Bengals now have the sixth-longest streak of years without a playoff win stretching all the way back to 1991.

Losing their playoff opener three straight years, also ties a league record.
