Balentine's 43 Points Not Enough As Evansville Falls

(Cedar Falls, IA) - D.J. Balentine's 43 point explosion wasn't enough as his Evansville Purple Aces fell at Northern Iowa Wednesday night 95-80.

Balentine hit 19 free throws on the way to his career-high.

But Blake Simmons was the only other Ace in double figures with 11 points on a night when Evansville shot 52 percent from the field.

The Panthers were also hot from the floor, shooting 48 percent.

Northern Iowa was led by Deon Mitchell and Seth Tuttle who each poured in 20 points.

Evansville falls to 10-12 overall and 3-6 in the Valley.
