(Bloomington. IN) - It's big day in the Big Ten, as both Indiana and Purdue open conference play.

The Boilers host number 3 Ohio State, but the Hoosiers will be a player short at Illinois.

Freshman Center Luke Fischer has left the school and will transfer according to Coach Tom Crean.

"I wish him the best, we will miss his potential, we will miss him as a person" Crean said.

"He did an outstanding job here academically and he is an excellent young man. It wasn't anything that anyone really saw coming."
