(West Lafayette, IN) Ronnie Johnson's 16 points led Purdue past a pesky Rider team 81-77 Sunday night at Mackey Arena.

The game was tied 40-40 at the half.

Four Boilermakers were in double figures, but the home team had plenty of trouble at the free-throw line, making just 16 of 31 on the night.
