(Indianapolis, IN) - Target Chip Ganassi Racing has tabbed open-wheel veteran Alex Tagliani to replace Dario Franchitti in the IndyCar season finale next week.
Franchitti suffered a broken back and ankle in a last-lap crash in the Grand Prix of Houston last Sunday.
Tagliani has been out of a ride since being replaced at Bryan Herta Autosport earlier this season.
