(Indianapolis, IN) - The NFL announced Tuesday that Indianapolis is one of three finalists to host the 2018 Super Bowl.
Indianapolis was named a finalist along with New Orleans and Minneapolis.
David Lewis, Vice-Chairman of the Indianapolis Super Bowl Bid Committee, says they're excited for the Circle City to be chosen as a finalist.
"We think the NFL's invitation is really an affirmation by the NFL of the extraordinary effort our city and state put forth to successfully deliver the 2012 Super Bowl and really it's an indication by the NFL owners of their belief that our community can do it again," Lewis said.
