(Houston, TX) Three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti remains in a Houston hospital recovering from injuries suffered in a crash at the end of Sunday's Grand Prix of Houston.
Franchitti suffered a broken back and ankle and a concussion in the crash, which occurred after the Scottish driver launched over Takuma Sato's car into a catch fence.
It is expected Franchitti will be transported to Indianapolis later this week.
