(St. Louis, MO) - It’s winner-take-all in game five of the National League Division Series tonight between the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Cardinals have plenty of reasons to be confident heading into tonight's game.
In the last three years, the Cards are 7-1 when facing postseason elimination.
In addition, St. Louis has ace Adam Wainwright on the hill, facing rookie Gerrit Cole.
The teams have played each other 23 times this season, with the Pirates holding a 12-11 edge.
