(Baltimore, MD) - Simon Pagenaud picked up his second IZOD IndyCar Series victory of the season, taking a crash-filled Grand Prix of Baltimore.

Pagenaud passed Marco Andretti for the lead with seven laps remaining and wound up beating Josef Newgarden to the checkered flag by just over four seconds.

Newgarden's second-place finish was the best of his career with Sebastien Bourdais finishing third.

Points leader Helio Castroneves finished ninth, but gained ground on Scott Dixon, who was knocked out of the race when he collided with Will Power on a restart on Lap 53.

The IndyCar Series is off until the weekend of October 5th when there will be two races in Houston.
