Kyle Busch Clinches Chase Spot With Atlanta Win

(Hampton, Ga) - Kyle Busch recorded his fourth win of the NASCAR Sprint Cup season with his victory at the ADVOCARE 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Busch took the lead with 36 laps remaining and held off Joey Logano by seven-tenths of a second to get the win and lock up a berth in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Martin Truex, Junior, who was driving with a broken right wrist, was third with Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman rounding out the top five.

One race remains before the start of the Chase with Jeff Gordon currently eleventh, six points behind Kurt Busch for the final automatic berth.

Kasey Kahne and Truex currently hold the two Wild Card spots.

The "regular season" ends Saturday night at Richmond.
