Indians Beat White Sox For 14th Time In A Row

(Cleveland, OH) - The red-hot Cleveland Indians inched closer to a playoff spot Wednesday night as they continued their dominance of the Chicago White Sox with a 7-2 win.

The Indians have now beaten the White Sox 14 straight times.

Nick Swisher hit a two-run homer, and outfielder Michael Brantley added 3 hits for Cleveland, who have won 6 in a row.

Rookie pitcher Danny Salazar got the win for the Tribe, his 2nd of the season. Dylan Axelrod was the losing pitcher, and watched his record fall to 4-11 on the year.

The Indians remain one game ahead of Texas for the final A.L. Wild Card spot.
