(St. Louis, MO) - The St. Louis Cardinals clinched home field advantage for the entire National League playoffs in a 4-0 win over the Chicago Cubs.
Joe Kelly picked up the win in relief, after the Cardinals allowed Jake Westbrook a symbolic 1-inning start.
Kelly finishes the season with a 10-5 record. Jon Jay and Matt Adams each had 2 hits for the Cards.
Jeff Samardzija took the loss for the Cubs, finishing with an 8-13 record on the season.
