(St. Louis, MO) - Francisco Liriano dominated the St. Louis Cardinals for the second time in nearly two-weeks during the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-to-1 win at Busch Stadium last night.
Liriano improved to 13-and-5 on the year after a complete game, four-hit performance that bettered his victory over the Cardinals on July 29th.
St. Louis is 68-and-51 and trails Pittsburgh by three-games in the NL Central.
The series between the two division leaders wraps-up this afternoon starting at 1:45.
