Last updated on Wednesday, August 14, 2013

(Minneapolis, MN) - The Cleveland Indians beat the Minnesota Twins 5-to-2 at Target Field Tuesday.

Zach McAllister picked up his first win in nearly three months by striking out seven in six-innings pitched for the Indians.

Ryan Raburn hit a two-run homer in the sixth that gave Cleveland a four-run lead and Yan Gomes had two-hits and scored a run.

The Indians, 64-and-56, had lost seven of their last eight-games entering last night's contest and trail the first place Tigers by six-games in the division. They play the Twins this afternoon at 1:10.
