(Milwaukee, WI) - In the National League, John Jay homered for the second straight game and Yadier Molina had four-hits in the St. Louis Cardinals 8-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park yesterday.
Jay drove-in Molina in the fourth inning with a two-run shot that gave St. Louis a 4-2 lead.
Molina went 4-5 with an RBI and Carlos Beltran opened the scoring in the first inning with his 21st home run of the season.
St. Louis is 72-52 and trails the Pirates by a game for first place in the NL Central division.
They play the Brewers tonight at 8:10.
