(Los Angeles, CA) In the American League, the Cleveland Indians finished a sweep of the Los Angeles Angels with a 3-1 win at Angel Stadium.
Nick Swisher hit a two run homer in the third inning.
Michael Bourn went 3-for-4 with a run scored and Justin Masterson improved to 14-9 after leaving the game in the sixth inning with one-run allowed.
Cleveland is two and-a-half games behind the Oakland A's for the final wild card spot in the American league at 69-58.
