(Indianapolis, IN) - Indianapolis Colts’ wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey returned to practice yesterday after an MRI revealed no structural damage to his sprained left knee.
Head coach Chuck Pagano said Heyward-Bey, who was held out of Monday's training camp workouts, had a light practice yesterday and is listed as day-to-day by the team.
The Colts released nose tackle Brandon McKinney yesterday with an injury settlement.
McKinney was placed on injured reserve last week because of swelling in his surgically repaired left knee, the same knee that caused the seven-season veteran to miss the entire 2012 season.
The Colts resume training camp practice tomorrow at Anderson University after taking today off.
The first preseason game is Sunday against the Buffalo Bills at Lucas Oil Stadium.
