(St. Louis, MO) - In the National League, the Los Angeles Dodgers made it three-wins in four-games against the Cardinals with a 5-1 win at Busch Stadium last night.
Rookie of-the-year candidate Hyun-Jin Ryu has won his last four starts and improved to 11-3 after striking out seven in seven-innings pitched against the Cardinals.
Carlos Martinez lost his first major league start after giving up four-runs in four and-two-thirds innings pitched.
St. Louis is 66-48 and trail the Pirates by four games for first place in the NL Central division.
They host the Cubs tonight at 8:15.
