(St. Louis, MO) - In the National League, the St. Louis Cardinals ended the Los Angeles Dodgers 15-game winning streak on the road with a 5-1 victory at Busch Stadium Tuesday night.

Carlos Beltran homered for the 20th time this season, a solo shot in the eighth inning, and Matt Adams followed a few batters later with a two-run homer that finished off the Dodgers run at history.

Los Angeles came up two wins shy of tying the major league record for most wins on the road.

The Cardinals are 66-46 and trail the Pirates by two-games for first place in the NL Central.

They continue their four-game set with the Dodgers tonight at 8:00.
