(UNDATED) - It was a rough start for both the BNL Stars and Mitchell Bluejackets this past Friday.
Bedford North Lawrence hosted the Bloomington South Panthers for their game opener under the new leadership of Head Coach Steve Weber. BNL failed to muster up enough offense to score and Bloomington South won to the tune of 35-0 in the Class 5A opener.
Tune in for the Coach Weber show this Wednesday at 6:30pm on 1340 AM and 105.5 FM for a recap of BNL's matchup with the Panthers. BNL is scheduled to travel to Bloomington North this Friday to face the Cougars. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
Mitchell, under the guidance of 3rd year Head Coach John Edge, traveled to Brownstown Central and were dominated by the Braves throughout the Class 3A match. When it was all said and done, the score on the scoreboard read: Brownstown Central 74, Mitchell 0.
Tune in for the Coach Edge show this Wednesday at 6:30pm on 102.5 FM for a recap of Mitchell's matchup with the Braves. Mitchell is scheduled to host the Springs Valley Blackhawks this Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
