Bailey Picks Up First Win Since No Hitter

(San Diego, CA) - In the National League, the Cincinnati Reds ended a five-game losing streak by beating the San Diego Padres 4-1 at Petco Park yesterday.

Homer Bailey won for the first time since pitching a no-hitter against the Giants on July 2nd.

Bailey lasted into the ninth inning and struck out seven in improving to 6-10 on the season.

The Reds are off until Friday's series opener against the Cardinals at Great American Ballpark.
