Vickers Snaps 75 Race Winless Streak

(Loudon, NH) - Brian Vickers ended a 75-winless streak in NASCAR’s cup circuit by taking the checkered flag at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon Sunday.

Tony Stewart, a three-time winner at New Hampshire, ran out of gas on the final restart of the race and finished 26th.

Kyle Busch, the winner of Saturday's Nationwide race, came in second. Points leader Jimmie Johnson came-in sixth, Jeff Gordon tenth, and Dale Earnhardt Junior 14th.

South Bend's Ryan Newman was involved in an accident on lap-226 and came in 39th.

The Sprint Cup Series returns to racing on July 28th for the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
