(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Thursday, Danny Salazar won his major league debut in the Cleveland Indians’ 4-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays at Progressive Field.
Salazar outdueled last year's NL Cy Young Award winner RA Dickey in striking out seven over six-innings pitched.
Dickey fell to 8-10 on the year after a two-run night in six-innings pitched.
The Indians are 48-44 and host the Kansas City Royals tonight at 7:05.
