(undated) In the National League, The Cincinnati Reds beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-2 at Dodger Stadium last night, ending the Dodgers six-game winning streak and pulling closer to second place in the NL Central.
Former Dodger Xavier Paul homered in the first inning and Jay Bruce hit a two-run shot in the sixth that gave the Reds a 4-1 lead.
The Reds are two and-a-half games behind Pittsburgh for second in the division. They play the Dodgers at 10:10 tonight.
