Last updated on Tuesday, July 9, 2013

(Indianapolis, IN) - Butler basketball coach Brandon Miller is reportedly holding over a pair of assistant coaches from the Brad Steven’s regime.

The Indianapolis Star reports that assistants Michael Lewis and Terry Johnson will stay on with the program and help lead the team into its first season of Big East Conference play.

Lewis, a two year assistant at Butler, confirmed his stay with the Bulldogs on twitter yesterday.

Johnson has been an assistant at Butler for six seasons.

Miller was hired to replace Stevens last weekend and became the fourth consecutive head coach to be promoted within the system at Butler.
