(Joliet, IL) - In NASCAR, Joey Logano held off Sam Hornish Junior to win the Nationwide race at Chicagoland Sunday, giving Team Penske a one-two finish at the mile and-a-half oval in Joliet.
Logano was the lone Sprint Cup regular to drive in NASCAR's junior circuit yesterday and secured his second Nationwide victory of the year by passing Hornish for the lead in the closing laps.
The Sprint Cup Series had a rare weekend off in preparation for Sunday's Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
