(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts placed running back Ahmad Bradshaw and safety John Boyett on the Physically Unable to Peform List Tuesday.
Bradshaw is recovering from foot surgery in January and is expected to challenge Vick Ballard for the starting job at running back when he returns.
Boyett was drafted in the sixth round by the Colts after a promising senior season with the Oregon Ducks was cut short after one-game because of injuries to both of his knees.
Players cannot practice while on the "PUP list," but can be activated at any time during training camp or the preseason.
