(Atlanta, GA) - In the National League Sunday, Jay Bruce and Shin-Soo Choo homered and Brandon Phillips drove in three-runs during the Cincinnati Reds’ 8-4 win over the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field.
Bruce rounded off a four-run inning for the Reds with his 19th home run of the season, a two-run shot in the third that made it 4-1 Cincinnati.
Choo hit a solo shot in the fifth and Phillips added to the Reds' run total in the ninth with a two-run double.
Cincinnati is third in the NL Central at 53-and-42 and sits five games behind the first place Cardinals.
