(Chicago, IL) - In Major League Baseball Wednesday, Josh Hamilton homered twice and Merrilville native Jeff Samardzija matched the worst outing of his professional career during the Los Angels Angels 13-2 win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
The Angels hit five home runs in last night's contest, matching the Cubs' home run total from Tuesday night's win.
Samardzija was chased out of the game in the fifth inning after nine-runs on nine hits, including four home runs.
The Cubs host the Cardinals tonight at 8:05.
