NASCAR Set To Party In The Poconos This Weekend

(Pocono, PA) In NASCAR this weekend, Sprint Cup drivers will qualify today for the upcoming Party in the Poconos 400 at Pocono Raceway.

The pole winner is expected to break the qualifying record at "the tricky triangle" in NASCAR's new Gen-X car.

Joey Lagano became the eighth driver to set a new track record this season when he turned the fastest lap ever at Dover International Speedway last week.

Tony Stewart climbed back into the Sprint Cup playoff picture by winning his first race of the year at Dover.

Jimmie Johnson is the current points leader, followed by Carl Edwards and Clint Bowyer. Sunday's race at Pocono is at 1:00.
