(Cincinnati, OH) - In the National League Monday, Jay Bruce hit a game breaking home run in the eighth inning during the Cincinnati Reds’ 3-0 win over the Colorado Rockies at Great American Ballpark.
The Reds led 1-0 in the eighth when Bruce hit a two-out, two-run shot off of Colorado reliever Josh Outman.
Bruce went 3 for 4, including his ninth home run of the season, and finished with two RBIs.
The Reds host the Rockies tonight at 7:10.
