(Indianapolis, IN) - Larry Bird will return to the Indiana Pacers as President of Basketball Operations, the team announced Wednesday.
Former President Donnie Walsh will stay on with the franchise as a consultant and Kevin Pritchard will continue as General Manager.
The Pacers will hold a news conference this morning to formally introduce the front office changes.
Bird spent nine-years as team President before resigning last Summer because of health issues.
