(Cincinnati, OH) - In Major League Baseball Monday, Joey Votto hit a tiebreaking home run in the bottom of-the-eighth inning to lift the Cincinnati Reds over the Cleveland Indians 4-2 at Great American Ballpark.

Votto hit his ninth home run of the year with two-outs in the eighth, a two-run blast off of Indians' reliever Nick Hagadone that gave the Reds a 4-2 lead.

The series resumes tonight in Cincinnati before shifting to Progressive Field in Cleveland on Wednesday.
