Uggla And Francisco Power Braves Past Reds

(Cincinnati, OH) - In the National League Wednesday, the Atlanta Braves hit three home runs, including a grand slam in the eighth inning, to beat the Cincinnati Reds 7-to-2 at Great American Ballpark.

Dan Uggla homered for the second time of the game in the sixth inning, a solo shot that gave Atlanta a 2-1 lead.

Juan Francisco drove a pitch from JJ Hoover over the right field wall in the eighth inning for the first grand slam of his career.

Zach Cozart gave Cincinnati an early 1-0 lead in the first-inning with his fifth home run of the season.

The Reds are 19-16 and begin a weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers tomorrow night at Great American Ballpark.
