Twins Put An End To Indians Six Game Win Streak

(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Sunday, the Minnesota Twins ended the Cleveland Indians six-game winning streak with a 4-2 win at Progressive Field in Cleveland.

Trevor Plouffe hit a two-run homer in the second inning and Mike Pelfry improved to 3-3 on the season after striking out seven in six-innings pitched.

Mark Reynolds hit a sacrifice fly in the second and Carlos Santana homered in the ninth for the Indians only runs.

Corey Kluber slipped to 2-1 on the year after giving up three-runs in five and-two-thirds innings pitched.

The Indians continue their home stand tonight against the Oakland Athletics.

First pitch is at 7:05.
