(Indianapolis, IN) - Rookie Carlos Munoz topped the speed chart in practice yesterday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Munoz completed a lap of 223.023 miles-per-hour in leading Andretti Autosport to a near top-five sweep on the second day of practice.
Teammates Ryan Hunter-Reay, EJ Viso, and Marco Andretti were the next fastest drivers.
AJ Allmendinger of Team Penske broke up the sweep by finishing ahead of James Hinchcliffe, Andretti's fifth driver in the upcoming Indianapolis 500.
Practice resumes for the 97th Indianapolis 500 today at noon.
The race is Sunday, May 26th.
