(New York, NY) - In the National League Wednesday, the Cincinnati Reds scored three-runs in the ninth-inning to beat the New York Mets 7-4 at Citi Field in New York.
Brandon Phillips drove-in Shin-Soo Choo in the ninth to make it 5-4 Reds, and Todd Fraizer hit a pinch-hit single that scored two more in giving Cincinnati a three-run cushion.
Phillips had two-RBIS in raising his National League leading total to 40.
Zach Cozart went 4 for 5 and scored two-runs and Joey Votto raised his batting average to an NL best .358 with a home run in the third inning and a base hit in the seventh.
