Reds Complete Sweep Of Cubs At Wrigley Field

(Chicago, IL) - In the National League Sunday, the Cincinnati Reds sent Chicago Cubs’ starter Edwin Jackson to 0-5 on the year and completed a sweep of Chicago by winning 7-4 at Wrigley Field.

Jackson signed a 4 year, 52 million dollar contract with the Cubs in the offseason but has gone winless with an earned-run-average of 6.39.

He has not pitched beyond the sixth inning this season and allowed four-runs in five-innings Sunday.

Mat Latos improved to 3-0 after allowing three-runs in five-innings pitched.

The Cubs host a makeup game against the Texas Rangers tonight before entertaining the Cardinals Tuesday.

First pitch this evening is at 8:05.

The Reds begin a series against the Atlanta Braves tonight.

First pitch from Great American Ballpark is at 7:05.
