(Cincinnati, OH) - In the National League Tuesday, the Cincinnati Reds hit two home runs in the ninth-inning to storm past the Atlanta Braves, 5-4 at Great American Ballpark.
Devin Mesoraco tied the game at 4-4 with a two strike, two-out home run in the ninth, and Shin-Soo Choo followed with his second home run of the game for the walk-off win against the first place Braves.
Choo gave the Reds a 3-1 lead with a solo shot in the third inning and Joey Votto increased his batting average to .325 by going 2-4 for the Reds.
Homer Bailey allowed four-runs in five-innings and Jonathan Broxton earned the win for pitching the ninth inning for Cincinnati.
The series resumes this afternoon at 12:35.
