Pacers Try To Wrap Up First Round Series Tonight In Atlanta

Last updated on Friday, May 3, 2013

(Atlanta, GA) - The Indiana Pacers can close out their playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks and advance to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals for the second straight season by winning game-six tonight at Philips Arena.

Each team has won by double digits on their home court in the first five games of the series, and the Pacers stayed consistent by topping Atlanta 106-83 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Wednesday night.

Hawks' coach Larry Drew gave his team the day off Thursday, citing physical and mental fatigue after the blowout loss in Indianapolis.

David West scored 24 points Wednesday and shot over 50 percent for just the second time in the series and Paul George had 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Pacers.

Game Six tips at 7:00 tonight at Philips Arena.
