(Cleveland, OH) - In the American League Tuesday, Zach McAllister and two relievers combined to shutout the Oakland A’s 1-0 at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
McAllister improved to 3-3 on the year and lowered his ERA to 2.63 after completing seven and two thirds innings against Oakland.
Yan Gomes knocked-in Carlos Santana with a sacrifice fly to centerfield in the fifth-inning for the Indians' only run.
They resume their four-game series against Oakland tonight at 7:05.
