Jackson Roughed Up As Padres Throttle Cubs

(Chicago, IL) - In the National League Tuesday, the San Diego Padres sent Cubs' starter Edwin Jackson to 0-4 on the year with a 13-7 win over Chicago at Wrigley Field.

Jackson left the game after serving up three run scoring doubles and a home run to Yonder Alonso through four and-two-thirds innings pitched.

Jackson's ERA ballooned to6.27 after giving up eight runs to the visiting Padres.

Both teams are 10-16 on the year and resume their series at Wrigley tonight at 8:05
